Step Forward Program

What is the STEP FORWARD Program?

The STEP FORWARD Program is a targeted initiative held in conjunction with the Electrical Expo, designed to connect manufacturers with key decision-makers in the engineering and architectural community.

This program creates meaningful opportunities for manufacturers to engage directly with engineers and architects—before, during, and after the Expo—while also enhancing the overall experience for these professional attendees.

Purpose of the Program

The STEP FORWARD Program was created to:

  • Promote the Electrical Expo to engineers and architects
  • Encourage deeper interaction between manufacturers and these critical audiences
  • Provide added value and engagement opportunities beyond the traditional trade show experience

How It Works

Participating manufacturers (who exhibit with a full booth at the Expo) take part in a structured engagement program that includes:

  • Increased visibility through event promotions and materials
  • Inclusion on a special show card used by engineers and architects as they visit booths
  • Opportunities to highlight featured products directly to attendees

Value for Manufacturers

Manufacturers benefit from:

  • Direct access to engineers and architects throughout the event
  • Enhanced brand visibility to a targeted, decision-making audience
  • The ability to build relationships and showcase products in a hands-on environment
  • Additional promotional exposure tied to the Expo and STEP FORWARD Program

Value for Engineers & Architects

The program also delivers significant value to attending firms and professionals by offering:

  • Free access to educational seminars with professional development credits (PDHs and LUs)
  • Hands-on product exploration at the Expo
  • Direct interaction with manufacturer representatives
  • Incentive-based participation, including prize drawings and gift card opportunities

In Summary
