📝 Important Pre‑Season Information
Before league play begins, a preseason captains meeting will be held to review:
- League rules
- Course expectations
- Schedule logistics
- Team rosters
Please ensure each team has a representative present.
🏆 Playoff Eligibility & Format- may change
Based on the 2024 playoff rules (updated version to be posted if modified), here’s what players can expect:
Playoff Qualification
- Top four teams advance.
- Seeding is determined by regular‑season standings.
- Ties broken by head‑to‑head result; if still tied, by coin flip.
Player Eligibility
To play in the postseason, a golfer must:
- Have played at least 3 nights with their own team during league play before Week 15.
- Players who have handicaps but do not meet this requirement incur a 2‑stroke penalty during playoffs.
Playoff Match Rules
- Team Matchups: 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3
- Tee Assignments:
- Standard tees: Yellow
- Ages 65+: Blue tees (must match what you played all season)
- Course: Hawthorn
- Teams must play in twosomes against their opposing twosome.
- Both twosomes must keep score for all four players.
- No gimmes — all putts must be holed.
- Tiebreaker: Handicap holes determine the outcome.

⛳ Rules at a Glance
Ball Play
- Fairway: Ball may be rolled with the club (no touching by hand).
- Rough/Fringe: Play the ball down—no movement permitted.
Substitutes
- A list of contacts for subs will be provided
- Participants are responsible for finding subs if needed.
