What contests or special events will be on the course?
Volunteers are unable to accept payments on the course.  All registrations and contests were sold thru sponsorships and prior registrations.
10″ PUTTING CONTEST
Where:  Putting green near the clubhouse.
Benefits:  Connect-4-Success (mentoring program)
How:  Volunteers will communicate how many putts you have.  The name of anyone making a putt will be entered into a drawing for ONE foursome at Forest Park Golf Course.  One entry for each made putt.  Winner is not required to be present at the dinner.  Thank you to all who participated.  We raised $660!

What are the “Rain Rules”?
Forest Park will determine decisions concerning weather.  It is advised all golfers plan on coming to the course the day and be prepared to play.  Contact the Pro Shop for any questions.  EBMI staff will be at the course early and may not be available to answer calls.
Once play begins:
If horn has blown:  Everyone needs to come off the course.  No exceptions.  Safety First!  Club will determine if play can be resumed.  We will par everything else if course blows horn and cancels play.

The following occurs if Forest Park call play:  Nine holes or 2.5 hours played by all participants constitutes a completed tournament.  The tournament will be rescheduled if Forest Park management cancels the tournament because of weather conditions.

If rain causes play stoppage for golfers, but course does not “call play’, the committee will determine if they will call it completely after 30 minutes of stoppage.  If play is not resumed, scores will be based on last completed hole for ALL foursomes immediately.

Foursomes have 15 minutes from the point when committees cancels play to turn in their scores to the clubhouse, should the EBMI committee determine to call play.  It is up to your foursome to call/text Kim or Annie to inquire if play is canceled.  If Forest Park doesn’t call play, you can continue on the course.  However, it is up to you to provide scorecards to be eligible for prizes.  Dinner and program will begin 15 minutes after the committee’s decision is made.
